IEEE DALLAS SECTION VOLUNTEER AWARDS ANNOUNCED  

Congratulations to the Consultants Network nominees! They are David Stephens and John Lindsay. David and John wil be honored at the Section Banquet on Saturday Dec. 13. PLAN ON ATTENDING.

David was nominated  for the Section Outstanding Service award. He is being recognized by the section for his long standing service as Treasurer and Secretary of the Consultants Network. Last year, without David’s continued commitment to serve, the CN group would have had to disband. He has been a reliable leader which allowed the  CN  chair to focus on additional speaker responsibilities and publicity to continually get 20 plus attendees at each meeting and hold 11 meetings per year.   Furthermore, as a sustained leader, he has now encouraged others to volunteer and contribute to IEEE and CN.

John Lindsay is nominated as the Volunteer of the Year from Consultants Network. John is recognized for the proactive leadership he demonstrated this year. He provided the Consultants Network with interesting speaker ideas and then arranged for 4 speakers for our 2015 program. John is a dynamic inventor/ engineer and makes our meetings even more interesting because of his great questions.
